“With more than 20 years of experience in the painted and wooden kitchen business, Chiselwood knows a thing or two about colour” BBC Home & Antiques
“Bespoke kitchen maker Chiselwood and The Little Greene Paint Company have a reputation for excellence in their fields. Now they've joined forces to produce a range of paints” Period Living
The kaleidoscope of natural colours found in the kitchen and garden is the inspiration for colours in the Chiselwood Paint Collection such as Crème Anglaise and Beetroot. Separate colour palettes are designed to allow easy combining of different tones of a single colour for a subtle understated effect. Alternatively the combining of colours from separate charts creates dramatic impact with contrasting tones.
The Chiselwood Paint Collection was launched in 2005 and has proved extremely popular since then for use with our own furniture, with designers, professional decorators and home owners who are searching for a sophisticated decorating tool developed by interior specialists who understand colour. We have many clients who have decorated their entire house from the Paint Collection and remark on the quality of the paint.
We have now joined forces with The Little Greene Paint Company to manufacture our paint.Little Greene is an independent, British paint manufacturer, committed to the socially and environmentally responsible production of high quality paints.
In addition to high performance, quick drying, water-based paints, The Chiselwood Collection is also available in traditional oil-based finishes, reformulated by Little Greene to exceed 2010's tight environmental legislation.
Hand-finished colour cards featuring large chips of colour made with actual paint are available direct from Chiselwood. Samples of all the Chiselwood colours now come in handy 60ml sample pots. The finish is our finest Absolute Matt Emulsion -perfect for testing colour on your own walls as it dries quickly and your brush can be easily washed out in water.
Colour changes appearance according to the quality of light, time of day and which colours surround it, as a result we recommend that you use our sample pots to test your chosen colours in situ before placing your order.
