Serious Entertaining

Attention to detail is the essence of a bespoke scheme and in this project the eye is drawn to numerous examples from the quirky, triangular-shaped split-level island with a glass breakfast bar featuring edges deliberately chipped to catch the light, to the sparkling lighting rig which echoes the triangular shape below.

“I sent off for 15 brochures, whittled them down to six, visited each one and then chose two to prepare designs. It was Martin Holliday who won the commission. His ideas were totally unique. His furniture was genuinely bespoke, made especially to suit the room, rather than using standard cupboards tweaked to fit here and there.”
